# MCP

> Ask Claude, Cursor, and other AI apps about your Frigade Engage data

The Frigade Engage MCP server lets AI apps that support the [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) read your Engage data. Anyone on your team can ask questions in plain language, such as:

* Where are users getting stuck in our onboarding checklist?
* What's the top feedback from our NPS survey this month?
* How many people saw the new announcement, and how many dismissed it?

The server is **read-only**. It can't change Flows, users, or settings.

## Connect

The server URL is:

```
https://api.frigade.com/v1/mcp
```

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Claude">
    In Claude (web or desktop), open **Settings → Connectors**, click **Add custom connector**, and paste the server URL.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Claude Code">
    ```bash theme={"system"}
    claude mcp add --transport http frigade-engage https://api.frigade.com/v1/mcp
    ```

    Then run `/mcp`, select **frigade-engage**, and choose **Authenticate**.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Cursor">
    Add the server to `~/.cursor/mcp.json`:

    ```json theme={"system"}
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "frigade-engage": {
          "url": "https://api.frigade.com/v1/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
    ```
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

Any other MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth works the same way.

## Sign in and approve

The first time you connect, your browser opens the Frigade dashboard. Sign in, check the organization, and click **Allow access**.

The connection is tied to one [environment](/platform/environments). Production is selected by default. Click **Use Development** before approving to connect your Development environment instead. To use both, add the server twice.

Access ends automatically if you leave the organization.
